Manitoba Master Angler Award Rules
- Registered fish must be caught in Manitoba in accordance with provincial angling regulations.
- Anglers must measure the length of a fish to qualify for a Manitoba Master Angler Award as illustrated.
- Anglers must submit a photo of the fish to qualify for a Master Angler Award.
- If the fish meets the minimum Designated Picture Length, then a photo of the fish next to a measuring device or object of known length must also be submitted.
- Please note that all pictures provided will become the property of Travel Manitoba and may be used for publishing on the web site or in publishing materials.
- Qualifying fish must be submitted on an official entry form or copy of (one fish per entry form). No changes in the length stated on the application form will be accepted.
- Travel Manitoba will be the sole and final judge as to the acceptance of the entries, and reserves the right to request additional information and requirements as may be deemed necessary in the best interest of the program.
- Although awards are issued continuously, the Master Angler Awards annual deadline for publishing purposes is September 30.
- Only one bronze, silver, or gold badge and release crest will be awarded to any one angler, but certificates will be presented for all qualifying fish. Different specialist badges will be awarded for each species.
