Trophy Northern Fishing
Big water is needed for big northern pike. Crow Duck Lake is Eastern Manitoba’s largest body of water. There are 16 islands of various sizes, and an irregular 75 miles of shoreline. The lake is 10 miles long and six miles wide, with the deepest water at about 90 feet.
Walleyes get all the praise for being so great to eat, but when you bring in a freshly caught northern and they are properly prepared, few people can taste the difference.
Take lots of pics to accompany your fishing tales, and remember that careful release of these awesome fish are the best way to ensure they live on to help contribute to the balance of our well-populated lake.
